Urbanclad Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. (based in Jalgaon, Maharashtra) manufactures structured men’s suits, formal blazers, wedding Jodhpuri sets, and tuxedos under the tagline “For The Gentleman Within You.”
Most apparel templates dump every jacket into one generic grid. Men shopping for a wedding reception or boardroom presentation do not browse that way. They shop by garment silhouette, event occasion, and collar lapel cut.
02. Delivered Store Archive
Why this Shopify build is presented as a v1.0 archive
I designed and built the complete Shopify store for theurbanclad.com. After the initial operating period, the client chose not to renew their live Shopify hosting subscription.
Rather than linking to an inactive domain, we preserve the complete, unedited 1920 × 7263 px Shopify design archive and section breakdowns on this page so prospective clients can inspect the exact UI and merchandising system I delivered.
How we structured the menswear shopping flow on Shopify
Buying a structured blazer or three-piece suit online requires visual confidence. We designed the storefront around four practical merchandising decisions:
- Emerald Green & Champagne Gold Palette: Used deep British racing green (
#064e43) paired with warm gold accents (#f0dc9c) in the header and hero to frame formal menswear photography without harsh visual noise. - Coat-Hanger Category Cards: Created custom rounded garment frames topped with coat-hanger illustrations for the four core collections: Suits, Blazers, Jodhpuri, and Tuxedos.
- Shop by Occasion & Lapel Style Tabs: Added instant homepage tab filters so buyers can switch between Business, Wedding, and Regular wear, or filter jackets by collar cut (Peak Lapel, Notch Lapel, and Shawl Lapel).
- First-Order Coupon Bar & WhatsApp Sizing Help: Placed a clear
WELCOME18first-order discount strip at the very top and a floating WhatsApp button at the bottom right for chest and shoulder measurement questions.
